I had made XviD and DivX,but the DivX is better than XviD.

I made XviD according the XviD guide of Doom9.

My friend had made XviD and DivX too,but the XviD is better than DivX.

What shall I do? Something is wrong?

Yes I gathered that part but how about which XviD build(date) you used? How long was the movie? Target filesize?

You should read through the XviD forum to gather more information about new settings. XviD changes almost on a daily basis and it's impossible for Doom9 to update the guide to reflect new and better settings. Read through the posts here and then re-read:)

PS:Could you please tell me what is your own settings about 2 Pass - 2nd pass Int of XviD(XviD (http://nic.dnsalias.com/XviD_Install.exe) ).It has begun to support B-frames.

this is a dummy question. really.
I could answer 'XviD is definitively better', but that's meaningless (though I do use XviD :D ). Read the forum rule #12 for explanation.

XviD (and DivX, of course) offer dozens of options, and within the forum there are 100'n'more posts threads discussing how to use just a single option :eek: ; reading around is tedious, but is the best way to learn.:o

An always always always post informations (resolution, bitrate, filters, sw version, codec settings, etc.) :)

correction, testing each and every parameter yourself is the most tedious but by far best way to learn ;)
