Howdy. I did a search and looked though a ton of threads about creating chapters but I couldn't find any dealing with this. And I'd rather not spend money on a program only to find out it will not acomplish what I want. So, getting started... My source is a tv show. I would like to utilize all possible bits on the dvd, as would any good encoder, so I would like to have the intro and ending files on the DVD only one time and have the DVD, while playing, *point* to which tracks play when. Example.
Files On DVD:
Intro
Ending
Ep01
Ep02
Ep03
Play Order:
Intro
Ep01
Ending
Intro
Ep02
Ending
Intro
Ep03
Ending
I know this can be done with XML easily for SVCDS but since I just purchased my DVD-R recently, I'm new to this. So does a method or program exist to essentially *trick* the dvd player into what is played when.
Also, I have one requirement. I would not opt for this option if it would create pauses in the video. With a SVCD, since the clips must be split up on the actual disc, there is a 1s delay between say the ending of the episode and the begining of the ending. (Read that sentance a few times ;p). So, will this method, if it exits, create any gaps, or provide me with smooth playback?
Thanks in advance

EDIT: I also looked through the mastero guide and see how the chapters are listed via timesegments. If I were to do the same thing like:
00:00:00:00 {Intro}
00:01:30:00 {Ep01}
00:21:30:00 {Ending}
00:00:00:00 {Intro}
00:23:00:00 {Ep02}
Would that work? Thing to keep in mind is that *if* it does jump back to the intro at line-#4, when the intro is done, will it:
a) continue in an endless loop and re-play episode 1; or
b) jump back (really forward ;p) and play episode 2.
(it could do neither if it craps out at that weird out of order timing list).
