I'm getting a problem where the subs aren't cleared when the next sub is displayed, unless the next sub is longer than the previous one.
Has this happend to anyone else? and does anyone got any idea on how to fix this? Using the latest oggDS and subtitle filters ofcourse.

This recal me this thread (http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?s=&threadid=35175), but you say you correctly installed all the filters ...

Yup, thats exactlly the same problem i have. I do have OggDS 0.9.9.5 and SubtiDS 1.4.0 installed alongside with vobsub 2.18.
I know that in the past Oggsubs and Vobsub didn't work together, but i am under the impression that this should be fixed now.
Oh and i'm using OGmuxer 1.0a7 to mux them all together. 1 divx 3.x, 2 mp3s and 1 srt.

I am not sure. Few days ago OokzDVD was having a problem with subtitles being screwed up on second part when cutting with OGMuxer.
At the end we found it was most likely to be related to a problem between SubtiDS and DVobSub.
As I stated in the post I gave the link, your problem looks like a one I fixed before even releasing the first version of OGMuxer.
Since it was a long time ago, and that some people are using this tool (I hope ;)), I think that if this problem had not been fixed I would have received a lot of bug reports about that ...
Try disabling DVobSub, and/or try using another player than your favorite one to see if it helps.

Yes,
I can confirm that the DVobsub is not working well with .srt muxed into .ogm, trailing problem.
Since I prefer to use the DVobsub rather than Subtit.ax (Tobias's),
so I just avoid muxing the .srt into the .ogm.

Hi.
I haven't problems with ogm with muxed subtitles.
I have installed:
OggDS 0.9.9.5
Vobsub 2.18
SubtitDS 1.4.0.0
(I installed the filters in this order, perhaps it's important :D )
In playback time, if the ogm have subtitles, Dvobsub take precedence over subtitds and display the subs (well, you have to seek forward or backward the first time, THEN the subtitles work). If the ogm doesn't have subs, then subtitds is loaded. I check it with graphedit.
So no problem between both filters (in my case). I have a lot of ogm video with muxed subs, most of them are Xvid, 2 vorbis tracks and 1 or more srt subs.
Just my experience.

@Hajime,
How did you mux the .avi + .ogg + .srt ?
Ogmuxer or OggMux ?
Thank you.

Hi OokzDVD
well, the method change over the time...
I have ogm muxed via oggmux, directly in graphedit and recently in VirtualdubOGM. None of them have problems with vobsub.
some time ago, i ask gabest about the problem of display the first ogm sub in vobsub. He said this is more problem of oggds rather than vobsub, so he can't fix it :(
BTW. The VirtualdubOGM cutting capabilities, works like a charm with ogm(video,n*(vorbis),m*(srt),chapters)
thanks Cyrius for your great mod.

@Hajime,
Thank you for the info.
@Cyrius akan Suiryc,
I just found another strange problem,
after Hajime confirm that muxing .srt use oggmux with no
problem, I decide to make a test, and the result is true,
the subtitle is ok, no trailing subtitle. :(
But when I try the same setting with your ogmuxer,
the result is trailing subtitle. :(
Thank you.

Yeah, I can confirm that, I make a little test with ogmuxer and the result was trailing subs.
The OGM:
1 Video (Xvid)
3 Vorbis tracks
2 srt subs.

OGMuxer 1.0a10 should fix this bug.
This bug is also related to DirectVobSub but is not a problem for SubtiDS. That's why I could not see it before (I disabled DVobSub for embedded subs).
This also answered me concerning the problem I had with making XviD (or MsMpg4v3 / DivX 3) + subtitle OGMs : using SubtiDS it won't work (having disabled DVobSub, you can try your clips and I bet they won't play correctly), but DirectVobSub works. So it sounds like a problem with SubtiDS.

@Cyrius aka Suiryc ;)
I just try the Ogmuxer 1.0a10 last night, the trailing subtitle problem is fixed ;) I'm glad to see it works well on my machine. ;)
Thank you for your GREAT ogmuxer, with your tool, now I can savely :
1. .avi + .ogg + .srt + .chapter = 1 cd
2. .avi + .ac3 + .srt + .chapter = 2 cd (split)
without manually edit the .chapter and .srt as I always did
make split with nandub and adjust subtitle with my own small .php
script. ;)
Thank you.
