chance to fade out first DVD of a split DVD ?

hi,

most of the movies are too long or are just to large to burn to a one DVD without reducing the image quality.
so here is my question: is there a chance that i split a DVD to 2 DVD's and fade out the first DVD with a black screen for one or two minutes or with a black screen and "Please flip disc" or something like that ? with the normal methods you get the menue or without menue you get your DVD players basic startup picture.
It would be perfect if that would work - i don't have idea how to do that or if it is possible...

i emailed derrow this idea a few weeks ago.

chapter 23 or 24 of "Patton" has a black screen with the words "Intermission" and some music. After ripping only this chapter with SmartRipper, the vob came to 23meg.

i asked derrow if, when splitting discs, IFOedit could ask you to choose a vob file from your personal hard drive to insert as the last chapter on the first disk. this way, everyone can add whatever they like.

he said he'd implement on the next ifoedit version!
