I'm trying to backup X-Files Season 5 disc 5 to one DVD+R. I ripped the entire contents then stripped out the extra audio streams with Ifoedit and created a CFFL file containing the 8 vob files. When I use rempeg to compress the files it goes halfway and then says transcode successful - but it wasn't. Only half were transcoded. I've tried several times with different compression factors and always get the same result. I re-ripped and stripped the files - same result. My max file size is limited to 4 gigs, but the file I'm trying to create does not reach that size.
Ant ideas?

I used to have the same problem with REMPEG... the problem is, that program in general kinda sucks for movies. I sometimes use it to quickly downsize a trailer or two. I use CCE... it's the best. I used to be adverse to using it because of remuxing the audio and video, and adding chapters but trust me... in the end, it's the best quality solution. Try the demo version on this sight and re-author using the ifoedit 9.5 guide. You'll probably be happier than trying
to get rempeg to work.
P.S. CCE is also a whole lot faster too!
