Can u disable menu buttons using IFOEdit instead of VobEdit ?

Is there a way to disable a menu button using IFO Edit instead of Vobedit ? I have used VobEdit (latest) to edit the menu buttons 45 entries to disable it but one particular DVD player (Scan SC-2500) still allows the button to be selected (others seem ok). So I am thinking that maybe this player uses the button info from IFO files or something. So I need to know if I can disable a button using IFOEdit and if so some brief step by step on how to do it.

You can do it just in VobEdit.

Are you guys talking about the buttons in the Menus like scene selection ect.
If you are that would be awesome.

It’s a pain going through the PGC-Menus! in VTS_01_0.ifo pointing
the Jumps back to themselves.

Derrow, I think you all ready working on this but a chapter feature
would be nice add on to .940’s authoring.

Even if you could have a feature that would ask HOW many cells
would you like, works for me. even easer 35MB spits, rather
than the 650 min.. !! time table jump sector.

Can you please explain your method of disabling a menu? I recently backed up Sorority Boys with menu (minus movie extras). I was successful, however, when movie extras is selected, the set top player crashes. I attempted to use vobedit but did not have a clue as to what I was looking for. Any further guidance would be greatly appreciated.

wait. I thought it wasn't possible to change menu buttons at this point. Am I wrong?

You can't change the "If Gpreg<1>...etc commands from what i know of.........

what are you guys exactly changing?????????
