Hi guys,

Actually I have two problems with one DVD to modify: Dinosaur (Walt Disney). I changed the precommand (jumpss VTSM) to start the picture immediately (jump to title 1). It works but I get the English version with English subtitles. I tried to change the default language to French, so I added a SetSTN Set Audio Stream nr. in the video manager information managment table (VIDEO_TS.IFO) but it doesn't work, I still get the English version. Also I would like to turn the subtitle off (using the SESTN subpicture stream), double click on the command and change the byte that reads "9F" to "BE" but again, the subtitles are still on.

Please help me, thank you.
Best regards.

Hi Daniel,

look a little further in the IfoEdit thread and you'll see a great discussion on changing the subtitles (switching off and changing the defaults)

Cheers,

Rudi

Hello Rudi,

I already checked the IfoEdit thread and I read this discussion on changing the subtitles carefully but it still doesn't work on this DVD, subtitles always appear on the screen even if I add the SESTN subpicture stream (stream 62 meaning subtitles off).

Just to be sure that you understand the problem, I keep all the languages on the DVD I want to burn but I would like to get the French version as the default language.

1. Pre command (Setstn) Set subpicture stream nr.: 62
51 00 00 00 be 00 00 00
2. Pre command (Setstn) Set audio stream nr:1
51 00 00 81 00 00 00 00
3. Pre command (JumpTT) jump to Title:1

Thanks for your help.
