VCD & SVCD on DVD-R

Hi!
Can anyone help me! I've one big Problem! I want to put one VCD and two SVCD's on one DVD-R but thats not the Problem this works!
My Prob is that the VCD movie plays not correct on the standalone Player! THe 2 SVCDS works correctly!

THe VCD has an other resolution as the SVCD's

When I play the VCD the screen it has not all colours, but when I restart the Movie with the "root-Menu" Key it plays correctly!!!???
It only plays correctly when I restart it with the "root-Menu" key!!!

I seems so that the Player reinitialising the Movie when i press the "root-menu" button!!!!!

But how can I do that the Movie plays correctly at the first time I play it !!!

When I take it over my Menu Key!!!!!

Hmmm Where is my Problem!!!!????

I author with maestro!!!

I changed the VOB entrys in the right resolution for this VCD Movie!!!

you did give the VCD a separate VTS to the SVCD's ?

Yes I have an VTS_01 (SVCD); VTS_02 (VCD); VTS_03 (SVCD)

I Edit the Video_TS.ifo
And the Video_02_0.ifo

I changed the Video resolution in the VTS_02 to Mpeg-1 and 352x240
I made the same change in the Video_TS.ifo for VTS 02!!!

But it still play first the Shit resolution !!!

When I press the root-menu button it reload the Film2 and it starts correctly!!!

When I get it over the Menu-Button it starts with the Shitty resolution!!! It looks like the Negative!!!!

And so it goes on!!! I haven't any answer for that!!!???

I have the exact same problem.
I coverted 2 svcds and 1 vcd onto a dvd-r (all PAL).
SVCDs work fine whilst the VCD tears at the bottom of the screen.

Did you ever get a solution to this?

You could sent me small sample (http://www.svcd2dvdmpg.com/svcd2dvdmpg/ftp.txt) & I'll see what svcd2dvdmpg+ can make of these files. I do vcd & ntsc and/or pal/ntsc on the same dvdr all the time with no problems....

Unless you need menus.
