Maybe some people can add to the list.

If you have a VBR file, check by loading it in virtual dub, (and if it says improper VBR, blah blah however many seconds of skew), then load the avi file in nandub, extract the video and audio separately as wav. You may want to select have the movie, extract the video and audio for that and than the other half of the movie.

THEN, using lame, encode the wav file as however many kbps @ 44 or 48hz, so long as the file is turned into a CBR MP3.

Don't stick the audio files and video files togehter! Load them separately in TMPGEnc.

or you'll end up with this

"Then in TMPGenc, Load the video file with the CBR Mp3 already attached to it. For me I didn't know there wasn't any audio, so I encoded and after NO SOUND!."

So once again, I then stripped the audio from the mp3 file as a wav, loaded them separately into TMPGenc, went to advanced and audio, and LISTENED this time and there was Sound, whereas the Video with CBR Mp3 file registered no sound.

Does anyone know why TMPGenc would do that? or does it just plain not support Mp3?

I know my english and sentence structure is incoherent. I 'll revise tomorrow after some sleep
