I have Goodfellas dvd ntsc R1. This movie has half on side a and half on side b. Can I strip out m2v file and ac3 files on each side and reencode them to fit on one side then import them into Maestro set my own chapters and have them play right after each other (part 1 them part 2) without any sync or pausing issues? If so do I make one pgc or two? Please if anyone has done this b4 please give details with the Meastro portion...

im sure this has been posted before, extract your video and audio streams, reencode the video (if necessary), drop the files into maestro, put both m2v on the one timeline, create sync audio, import the chapters (make sure to put the offset in for the 2nd half) and done.

can you please explain the sync audio setup for maestro .
I have been having audio sync problems so far with side B , if i join the 2 sides ( tried several ways )Side A is always ok
I am tring to do The rock (r4) , - A side ripped and CCE , b - ripped and CCE.
Add side A video ,at the end of side A , I add b side to the time line , same PG1 in Maestro.
I place in A side AC3 file , but cannot add side B ac3 to the same time line. Maestro wants to replace Side A audio , so how do i add side B audio and keep it in sync ?
I tried Using Filemerger to merge Audio A & b , to create one audio ac3 file , but when i compile it , again the orginal side B is out of sync to the video
Any Helpfull solutions , thanks in Advance ;)

with a blank audio line, right click in it and create sync audio track.

I also ripped 'goodfellas'.
I applied this method :
-keep only the movie. So, strip each side with IfoEdit
-Merge all to a new VOB
-Use this merged VOB with DVD2AVI.
I didn't have any sync audio issue when I imported all the assets into Maestro.
