I have successfully created numerous svcds using dvd2svcd. Recently I have encountered a problem. Everything will go fine until the audio processing stage, when my computer will reboot it self and once I have logged back in a message will be displayed saying that “you computer has recovered from a serious error”. If I then go to properties on my computer it says that my processor is running at 799mhz ( I have an AMD XP 1600). If I shut down my computer and then turn it back on everything is fine. I have not installed any new hardware recently and my computer is generally very reliable. It is a concern that this problem has just started to happen and I am worried that it may be causing damage.
If any one has any suggestions as to what might be causing this problem and any possible solutions you advice and comments will be appreciated. If you require more information I will respond.
Windows XP, AMD xp 1600, ECS m/b, 512 sdram, 40 gig 7200 HD, 20 gig HD, Sony DVD, Panasonic CDR, GForce MX400 64 meg AGP
