Hi, I have just started to try and burn my first DVD with
Nero v5.5.9.0.

IfoEdit's DVD Player plays the files flawlessly, as does WinDVD v4.

The files are:
VIDEO_TS.IFO, .BUP
VTS_01_0.IFO, .BUP, .VOB
VTS_01_1.VOB
VTS_02_0.IFO, .BUP
VTS_02_1.VOB
VTS_02_2.VOB
VTS_02_3.VOB
VTS_02_4.VOB
VTS_02_5.VOB

First when I tried to burn with NERO it said I was missing VTS_01_1.VOB, so I moved that file in the compilation and tried again. This time NERO came up with an 'Unexpected exception' Error.

No clue to what this means?

Any help would be appreciated.........thanks.

I'm not a Nero fan, I use Prassi. But have you tried building an image file with IfoEdit first, then burning the image with Nero? Give it a try and see if you get different results.

You ARE doing this with a DVD-RW until you figure it out, right?!

Hi Roach76,

What kind of DVD writer do you have?

I've got big problems burning video DVD with my Philips 228. +RW goes reasonably well but +R all fail (6!). Even the DVD writer can't read them afterwards.

I think I'll return the drive tomorrow.

Thanks for replying,

I have the Pioneer DVR-104, works fine with 'UDF/ISO' option but not with 'DVD-Video'. As for creating an Image File, I don't think I can do that with Win ME's 4GB limit can I?(Will upgrade one day, promise) Also, yes I go to DVD-RW first.

Thanks
