From this (http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?s=&threadid=20469), it seems you need a DirectShow filter. Try to install some DVD player on your PC and try again.

You have to ripp as one big file, which means you can't have
5 vob's only one.

You all so need the plug in M2V.VFP.........................!

Why would you want to do directly from vob? TMPGEnc accepts DVD2AVI (d2v) project files as the source and you don't have to rip to one giant vob file. (Especially useful for FAT32 people.) Plus, you can demux the audio and encode it either through besweet or convert it to wav and input it into TMPGEnc too.

Yes your right FAT 32 people Will have to do the DVD2AVI (d2v) project.

It’s more time wasted is all.

There are 3 way you can get the video into TMPGEnc.

#1 dvd2avi .d2v
#2 .VOB
#3 The way I do it.

Demux .m2v video from .vob (STREAM PROCESSING). 5000MB+-
Demux .ac3 audio from .vob (STREAM PROCESSING). 415MB+-

As far as Justinus this forms link
gos, i've had no problems at all.

My encodings come out beautifully....!

Oh I forgot to mention when opening the vob or m2v TMPGEnc creates
A (name.gl) file if the plug in is installed correctly.

This will only happen once for each file you open, vob-m2v 5GB+.

It can take awhile up to 4min on older computers.
