I'm a stupid newbie trying to complete his very first successful
GKNOT project... converting a DVD-movie to a DivX5-movie with the AC3 6ch English audio muxed right in.

Currently I can render DivX5 video just fine... its the audio portion that is all messed up.

First off... when I use DVD2AVI within GKNOT, if play the .AC3 file I get back thru WinMediaPlayer 6.4, the audio is all messed up. It skips, makes a whooshing sound in&out really quick...overall a real mess. I've tried this with several DVD's and keep getting the same results.

Now, I've read thru the Guide for DVD2AVI a ton of times so I'm pretty sure I have all the settings correct... Under Audio, then under Track, I choose Track1, under ChannelFormat, I choose AutoSelect, under DolbyDigital, I choose Demux all tracks, under 48>44.1kHz I choose OFF... Am I missing something stupid??

Here are all the Programs I currently have loaded on my hard-drive (and I have no idea in what order I loaded them the first time):

> Nimo 5 Build 8
> GKnot 0.26 beta (which has SmartRipper 2.40, DVD2AVI 1.76, VirtualDUB 1.4.10, NANDUB 1.2rc2)
> DivX5 Pro Bundle
> ForceASPI (for my Win2kPro OS)
> AudioFilters (with the registerfilter-2k command script installed)
> Directx 8.1b
> GSpot 1.1
> InterVideo WinDVD 4

Any help / suggestions?????

First did you try to playback the video with BSplayer, and then to load the ac3 file ? I have a limited confidence with WMP 6.4 on this case. I've you tried to mux audio and video to see if it played right ?

Second : get rid of the Nimo pack, it should not interfere in this case, but it is used to messed up your system while installing.
