dvdr CCE/bbMEG settings question

Having read all the available posts on using DVD2SCVD for creating DVDR files from VOB or AVIs for DVD authoring programs, I find conflicting info:

1. CCE Advance settings...a)click DVD, b) double click DVD, c)click MPEG2, d)double click MPEG2, or leave default of SVCD

2. bbMPEG Advance settings...check DVD compliant or not?

I intend to use eithe SpruceUp, Maestro, and/or ULEAD DVD Workshop to author the DVDR..

Other way around:

1. In bbMPEG dbl click on MPEG2
2. In CCE do _not_ enable dvd compliant. All it does afaik is force the size to 720*480/576, which of course is bad if you wanna do CVD's.
