Need a little help here. I have imnported a demuxed DTS audio file, as well as a demuxed m2v file ready for authoring. Problem is when i try to "create audio sync track" i get an error that the audio file is not compatible or whatever. I have burned it onto a DVD-RW and everything seems fine except for the slight audio/lip sync being out. Anyone had this with the DTS track ?
Thanks

I've kept the DTS track in two scenarios. One, I'm fortunate that the size of the movie with just the movie and DTS track fits on a single DVD+R and can strip it down with IFOEdit and burn.
The other is when I have to resize the movie and reauthor with the DTS track. I use DVD Maestro and I ignore the message "you must have at least one AC3 audio track" when I start compiling. Usually when I drop the DTS track on the first audio line, DVD Maestro doesn't line it up with the beginning of the movie. All you have to do is click and hold on the DTS track, drag it toward and past the beginning of the movie track and DVD Maestro will align it with the movie track.
I have not noticed any audio artifacts when using the method. In fact I just completed a backup of E.T. Special Edition and re-authored both the DD 5.1 and DTS tracks with my resized movie file. I can use my remote to change the audio track to whichever I want to hear.
