How do you change audio options if locked?

I want to rip a DVD and only rip the movie. However, the first track is in French and the second in English. Obviously I want to be able to hear the English. On the original DVD the audio is NOT selectable on the fly. I have tried stripping the first audio track, but that then leaves me with the second track which is 0x81 and it won't play because there is no 0x80 track. Can anyone help me out?

When you have IFOEdit opened and your ifo files loaded, click on the "remove puops" (wrong spelling) button. This eliminates the restrictions on using your remote while the movie is playing. Then you should be able to press the "audio" button on your remote and change the audio track. You need to "remove puops" in all of the IFOs because IFOEdit does it only for the IFO that is currently loaded.

I don't know why you don't get the audio track to play that you left in after stripping out the audio tracks you don't want. I routinely do this if I want only the DTS track and my DVD size stays below 4.37G. I don't recall the movies I've done this with, but I know I've used IFOEdit to strip out audio tracks including the first one (0x80).

Yes after stripping streams and using ifoEdit to create new Ifo's there shouldn't be a problem.
