Hi,

i want to calculate the Bitrate in my application at the same way as DVD2SVCD.

Who can send me the algorithm to calculate it?

would be very happy ;)

This program is not open source.

There are other bitrate calculaters out there that use GPL, but I don't think this license allows you to use the code in a seperate application.

I suggest you contact the authors directly.

dvd2svcd wrote he's own calcutions and he's not open-sourcing it. No he didn't copy FitCD's source either. This has been discussed here before. Anyway with that said..just download FitCD and give that a whirl.

I agree. Found that fitCD was very close to DVD2SVCDs bitrate calc.
