I'm getting bad sync issues using VirtualDub and/or gknot and making NTSC WindTalkers. The movie starts out in sync but then gets gradually worse, the video and audio are the exact same length. I just cannot figure out what is wrong. Here's my process:

Rip with DVD Decrypter
DVD2AVI using ForceFilm and Demux AC3
First method was to use GKnot, out of sync
Next method was to use VirtualDub, out of sync

I have know idea what could be causing it.

Anyone with any ideas???

Add a delay, so that the beginning of the movie is OK, and then change the video frame rate so that it doesn't run away.

This problem may be a lot of things. I really need more specific info as to what options were used for encoding. The most common reason I find video/audio are out of sync is that the framerate of each are different. If you go into video/framerate, and change the first option button to anything but what it gives you, you will get sync problems.

After going back and checking my settings over and over and over, I found something kinda simple, i was using the VOBs from my 'DVD-9 to DVD-5' processes...not the original ripped VOBs...not sure why the difference, but now the rip is in sync and PERFECT! Thanks for any/all help guys!
