TMPGEnc without IFO Edit

Hi all

I have been having a few issues remuxing TMPGenc back into the vob's using IFO edit so i have started using DVD Maestro to re-author and the results are good.

Is it OK for me NOT to create the IFOedit template or to load it into TMPGenc if i am re-authoring in Maestro? Also will the default GOP structure supplied by TMPGenc work fine?

Hi patch,
it worked flawlessly for me both with maestro and spruceUp :) .
Since you dont remux with ifoEdit you dont need to create and use the Tmpg Template.
Use DETECT SCENE CHANGE in Gop Structure tab in Tmpg to let Tmpg choose the right gop structure.

how are you setting up tmpgenc so that you can import the mpg into these program

Not sure about what you asked for:

DVD2AVI 1.77.1 + DVD2AVI.VFP
or
DVD2AVI 1.77.1 + avisynt 2.05 + mpeg2dec2.dll
