I have discovered that some Dolby Digital stereo receivers will not play AC3 cdr's. My Sony STR-945 Will play the cd's only until the blue light and AC3 decoder LED comes on, then it mutes. I have read that Pioneer will not recognize them as AC3. My JVC DVD audio and video changer model XV-FA95 which has a built in AC3 decoder does not detect the AC3 signal, but it does pass the digital output to my receiver. If any of you are using AC3 cdr'd successfully on the Dolby Digital decoder in your receiver, please let me know what brand of receiver you are using.
