Hi, i am capturing at 480x576 in Virtual Dub from a composite source (Digital Sattelite>Composite (cant afford DVB)). I am loading up the file in DVD2SVCD in AVI mode, sometimes, it extracts the audio sucessfully and encodes and then multiplexes it with the video.

Sometimes, it doesn't extract anything and makes a 44byte mp2 file. It is so annoying. I am using PICVideo MJPEG and either PCM@44hz at 173k/s or MP3@48hz at 39k/s - both stereo. It is sooooo annoying. I am capturing using my video in but that doesnt really have any concequence on the problem.

Hope someone could shead some light on this matter.

Cheers, dar1us

Quality of captured file seems good enough, someone tell me if this is kind of the quality you capture at:

uhh, you should be able to load the mjpeg straight into CCE...

naturally, but DVD2SVCD saves all that effort, working out bitrate, makes the images... quite annoying doing all the steps manually
