Problems with DVD2SVCD and CCE

Hi,

i´m new here. I want to update "ngrab", a streamingtool for the dbox2. i want that it will start dvd2svcd with the grabbed dvb stream.

but i have 2 problems with it.

my cinema craft encoder 2.50 sp sometimes crashes after writing the video information file when it would start the transcoding.
but it´s not every time. yesterday i have splitted my 2,4 gb stream into 2 parts (2 * 1,2gb). the first part i could encode without problems but at the second part cce hangs..

hope somebody can help me with this.

my second problem i have is with the d2s command line. i want to start dvd2svcd with the command line. but i only can start it when i use the recover function (without pvastrumento part) and in batch file too.

why i cant start it from the beginning and with pvastrumento part?

CCE hanging is a pretty common problem and one with way to much written about it to post again. For that specific problem try a search both in this forum and the advanced one. However I wouldn't bother until you get the outright crashing fixed as they maybe have the same cause.

CCE outright crashing is not a common problem. Does it crash your whole computer, give you an error or what exactly happens?
It could be an avisynth problem and not directly a CCE problem, but to know this we need more specific info on what happens including any error codes, etc...

I really know nothing about PVA so I am sorry I can't help there.

You might want to try the newest beta that can be found in the advanced forum in the thread help!!!!. Make sure to get both the linked files as the RC2 is only an EXE upgrade.
Also make sure to completely uninstall the prior version of DVD2SVCD.

hi, i have tried it with rc1.

at 1.0.9 b3 cce is closing and at rc1 cce brings a windows xp error message with the standard error text.

cce log file only says this:
