2 DivX avi files recompress to 1

Got a movie with 2 DivX files (2CD's, 1.4 GB)! I want to recompress the movie to only 1 CD (700 MB) in the end. What is the way to do this? Thank you in advance! ;)

Tried it, but did not work! :confused: I got a file that is about 1.4 GB big too!

Using DivX as source material doesn't produce great results, if I were you i'd just stick to the two cd rip instead of re-encoding it to one. If you really want a one cd DivX encode it from the original dvd ;)
