Few questions:

Will Scenarist fix an AC3 file with a delay or should I fix it before bringing it in to the project.

As far as the AC3 corrector tool, do I load my AC3 file and set the delay to "0" and then write the new file out?

One more, Smartripper shows my audio delay as 29ms, while DVD2AVI shows it as -156ms. Which is more likely correct?

AFAIK you have to sync it manually in scenarist, but you can only do this in 1 video frame increments (which is 1000/25 = 40 ms in the case of PAL). And only for positive delays I think, dunno what to do about negative delays, short of using ac3 delay corrector beforehand. But don't take what I've just said as fact.

In AC3 delay corrector, the delay should be entered as what it is. However the program can only cut whole frames, which are 32 ms long. So you'll still end up with a delay. e.g. if the delay is -156, 5 frames would be cut off giving a delay of -156 + (5 x 32) = 4ms.

Maestro kicks ass for syncing, I get async of only 1 ms at worst.

I posted my method in this thread:

As for the last, I have no idea. Make sure the menu vob is not included when using dvd2avi though (sorry if that insults your intelligence).
