About Nimo Codecs DivX

If I donwload the DivX pro, I get that stupid adware, but if I instal it from the Nimo I dont, but is that the same in matter of quality and such (Divx 5.02)?

I would be very very careful using the Nimo codec packs, many people (including me) have had to reinstall windows to get their computers working properly after installing Nimo (a very old Nimo now but I still don't trust it). Are the .dll/.ax files installed with Nimo the same as the ones installed with Divx pro? Have you seen the sticky thread in the divx5 forum:
