I ripped Blade2 to my drive using DVDDecrypter. After creating a d2v file and demuxing the audio with DVD2AVI, re-encoding the video stream with CCE, and bringing both into Scenarist, the audio reports as being only 57 minutes, a full hour short. When I play the ac3 file by itself using PowerDVD, it seems to contain all of the audio as I scan through it to the end, but the time shows only 57 minutes. ReelDVD also reports the ac3 track as being too short when I import it.

Building the DVD files with Scenarist gives me a playable DVD with audio that cuts out after 57 minutes.

The file size of the original ac3 file (stripped out by DVD2AVI) is 378 MB. I decided to rip the ac3 track out of the re-authored project, but it is only 184 MB, obviously too small.

Anyone have any idea what is going on? I am clueless....

I did Blade II using DVDDecrypter, DVD2AVI, VFAPI, CCE and Scenarist and mine went very smoothly. No problems with the audio at all. Did you do the DD 5.1 or DTS track?

Ran the ac3 file through AC3fix and it found a bad frame. Where you ask? Right in the middle of the file, right where the audio seemed to stop. Audio is the right length now, problem solved!

I have splitted my BLDAD2 to 2-DVDRs and kept all MENUS and EXTRAS with trailer, and the bonus...

Happy burning....
