Xmpeg 4.5 & DivX5

So I downloaded Xmpeg4.5 for the first time and follow the guide on doom9 to setup Xmpeg.

I get to the point where rightclick on the player menubar, choose run, choose project options, choose the general tab, click on 2nd pass plugin settings, and view all the codecs available in the dropdown list.

Ummmm... where's Divx the 5.0.2 codec ?!? :confused:

Its loaded on my system, but not in this dropdown list.
Am I missing something here? Please straighten me out.

Try something. Open Virtual Dub and go Video-Compression and you'll see all the codecs you have installed. Do you see DivX 5.02 there? If not, you'll have to reinstall it (and get rid of DivX4 if it's installed). If you see it in VDub, but not XMPEG, then I don't know, as I've never used that program. But I'm sure someone else can help.

You need to make sure that both the resolution perameters are divisable by 4 (i.e. 640x480 is) otherwise the DivX codec will not appear in the plugin setup. Hope this helps,
