Well as far as I know, Smart Ripper gives some info on the bitrate of the DVD. Maybe it will help you.

Yeah, Smartripper does give some information about that. However, it usually seems to show an average bitrate at around 600 kbit, which of course is wrong. I've always wondered about this.

Hmmm... come to think about it, could it be 600 kbyte?

Bitrate Viewer provides you a graph solution. It shows a lot of information you want to know about how that movie encoded as well, i.e. upper frame first, avg bitrate.
