Hi!
The firmwares on http://pioneerdvd.firmware-flash.com/2x4all.html seem to be deleted. Anyone care to attach the latest hacked firmware for DVR-A04/104 in reply to this thread?

Hey, on that page it says burn the nrg image file then follow the instructions in the readme.txt ...but there ain't any readme.txt! So, can someone please explain what the difference betweeen the files UPGDVD.exe and UPGDVDx.exe is, and anything else that's necessary to know? Tx!

OK unfortunately that page doesnt have the Gradius's latest "133special" firmware (i.e. 2X for all plus RPC-1 plus highspeed media fix). Anyone have a link to that?
And...lame question sorry...does anyone know if it's possible to "upgrade" from official 1.33 across to hacked 1.33.

Thanks Padre that link was very informative.
To save others time, here's a summary of what (I think) I read:
1) the readme.txt file becomes visible after you reboot with the bootable CD
2) the UPGDVDx.exe allows for a "forced" up/downgrade, but only for versions below 1.32
3) those of us with official 1.33 can't swop to 2forall/RPC-1 at present...we'll have to wait for a "fake" 1.34 or equivalent.
