Hy, thatīs strange. Did you follow the correct steps as in the guide?
Imported the m2v, Ac3, chapter list and subs ( if so )? No problems in this steps? If so, after this, save the project and start compiling. Maybe you could tell us the specs. of your pc. You can try SpruceUp ( only m2v and Ac3, no subs. ) althoug and compare. :)

Hi Sidar,

What Maestro build are you using? If you are running Win2k, and are using a Maestro build which is 2813c or older, then this is probably your problem. Spruce only officially made Maestro Win2k-compatible with the 2914 builds upwards. 2913 is also, strictly-speaking, non-win2k-compatible, too.

If you ARE using an older build (with Win2k OS), then you can try using ApCompat to emulate NT compatibility for Maestro. Maestro displays many weird-and-wonderful behaviours if it is not compatible with Win2k, even though these may not, at first, appear to have anything to do with Win2k compatibility. There used to be quite a few posts on the *original* Flexion forums, regarding these compatibility errors.

If non of the above is relevant to you, then just ignore it, but please do post here to tell us whether it is, or not, so that other suggestions can be made, if necessary.

Also, are you getting any specific error messages when you compile, or does Maestro just freeze, or exit, without any error messages at all?

hello arky,

firstly thanks for replies!

i followed the guide very carefully, no problem (at the first attempt, it didnt accept my second asset (ac3 or m2v) i had an error `media detection error`, trying a lot, solved, but not know why solved)

after adding subs, I save the project. than say compile. it does first steps, but when coming first vts creating, it crash. i even formatted to my computer. i tried a lot.

i looked about section, couldnt find build name. where can i learn it? i firstly install maestro 2.5, than install a service pack. in readme there is no build, but say this is not service pack 1, it is the even latest service pack.

it directluy crash, no freezing, no error message. there is only one error message from windows, it says it is related mediafile.dll caused the error.

i'm using windowss XP with amd 1.8, epox kh8a+,512 kingston ddr, seagate 60gb barracuda.

thanks for your interest,

sidar

sounds like you are using 2.5 (2199a) still, which only works properly on NT4, but can run on 2k with apcompat, but i found it wasnt 100% still.
