I compiled a DVD using some command sequences...
When i simulate it within Maestro it plays perfectly, but after compiling it doesn't behave as i wanted in WinDVD or PowerDVD...
I know i'm a little vague here, but i was wondering this is a glitch or sth of Maestro...
I can post my cmd sequences here if needed and be more specific of what i wanted to do...

Have you actually burnt it to disc, I read on a thread
where a guy compiled a DVD and when playing the files
on his PC the menus where not playing right, but when
he burnt the files to disc & tested, it was ok.
Just a thought.........

Please do.
As for what fruitbat said, that is possible as well. I'd still like to know what you're attempting and what exactly it is doing (or not doing) when you try it on the PC.

Well, my stand-alone DVD player died few weeks ago, so I can't test it there. I'll have to go to a friend of mine, but either way, this means that Command Sequences aren't complatible with all DVD players(standalone and PC)?
Ok, so what i want to do is this...
I have six episodes of Friends series(6 differerent movies) and i want to create a Play All button and also have the individual selection of each one differently...
So I created a Cmd Seq. for "Play All" Button having two lines...
Play.jpg show that...
Now at connections the End Action is another Cmd.Seq that
is like Check.jpg
Beside that simple thing i wanted to be able to press the Next or Previous button to jump to the next or previous episode keeping the current state. So if i had chosen the "play all" button, it would start the first episode, then press next, go to the next and keep playing the rest episodes, without stop...
Accordingly, if i had chosen an individual episode, i could skip to the next/previous one and at the end of it return to main menu...
For this function i used the GP1... So Every episode has its own GP1, so the Check.jpg cmd.seq. checks also which is the current state of GP1. The Cmd.Seq "Next Episode.jpg" and Previous Episode.jpg" add and substract accordingly from GP1 to move to the right episode...
Also i created a cmd. seq for every individual episode to set the GP1 accordingly (I have an example of the 4th episode 216.jpg)
So everything works ok in Maestro simulation, but
in WinDVD or PowerDVD EVERYTIME, it jumps to the next episode no matter what value GP0 has...(1 is for play all, 0 for returning to a menu)
Of course every time that a button returns or automatically sth points to a menu, i reset the GP0,GP1 values with a proper cmd. seq
Maybe it's the default values in PowerDVD/WinDVD of GPx set at 1?
Idiot question maybe...

There might be something with the default values. By definition all GPRMs are reset whenever a disk is inserted, or stopped. You might try explicitly clearing GP0 in the First Play.
What's with the jpg's - are there supposed to be some pictures here?

The .jpgs are snapshots of my cmd seqs that i had written...
I just saw the option Copy 2 Cliboard that the Command Editor has...
I should have posted the cmd.seqs in .txt format...
Sorry about that....
By the way, i know i'm off topic but how can i adjust the Command Editor in Maestro to fit to screen?
EDIT: i burned the DVD on a DVD-R and watch it on a Pioneer stand-alone...It behaves exactly like on PC. So nothing was corrected with burning...
I know i can do what i want with Playlists, but it has some limitations...You cannot point on connections a Previous or Next button. This is very limiting...
Anyway, could someone tell me if there sth wrong with my Cmd. Seqs?

Ok, I have not looked at the pictures lest I forget what I have to say after reading what you want the project to do. Do a search on the forum for the post I made about "flipper discs". I typed up a tip for navigation. You could use the same "dummy chapters" I mentioned there to allow your project to skip ahead (and back for that matter if you wanted to include it though not necessary in this case), regardless of whether the "play all" or "play individual" selection was made.
Now the trick would be the end action of the next to the last chapter (assuming a dummy chapter at the end). Let's say the "dummy chapter" at the end was "Chapter 10". In that case, you would set the end action of "Chapter 9" to run the command sequence which would check the GP setting. Let's say the GP was set to 0 and that meant "Play all" was selected. The command sequence would navigate to the next "movie". If the GP was set to 1 then it would navigate back to the main menu. You would then set this same command sequence as the end action for the next to the last chapter (ref. the "flipper" tip I posted). This would give you the functionality you are looking for.
