People keep talking abou 74 minutes CDs and 80 minutes CDs. With DVD2SVCD I'm using what I thought was 80 minutes CDs, but my output was 800Mb?!?!?! Here in Europe 80 minutes CDs are 700Mb and 74 minutes CDs are 650Mb. Am I misunderstanding something because even 74 minutes are 740Mb discs in your case. I cannot get those big CDs in stores here, our max is 700Mb. Why is this? Please let someone explain this to me. :(

lol

don't worry, you have the right cd's....with vcd's and svcd's the way the files are encoded you can fit up to 800mb (i think actually 807 is the max) on an 80min cd...so if you have 74 minutes you can fit around 740mb's....if you manage to get ahold of some 90 minute cd's or even 99 minute cd's you can fit 900mb or 990mb on one cd...
