I just started to download movie from kazaa my question is how can i convert and burn these movies to a disc through my cdrw. what program do i need to do this, I am totally lost in this matter

what format is the movie in?
what format do you want to burn it?

I believe the format is divx and i believe the format that i need is mpeg so i can play it in my dvd player

take a look into the doom9 guides
-> avi 2 vcd or perhaps svcd if your standalone supports it would be the right one! if you don't find anything suitable try the program Tmpegenc... but i doubt if you'll get the desired results without a guide!
