Hi
Until recently I have been using DVD2VCD quite succesffuly with both TMPG and Cinima Craft.
I have reently upgraded my computer and reinstalled both product now neither work both just freeze up in the encoding stage.
I have gone to an Athlon 1900 with 512MB RAM my version of TPMG is 2.57 and Cinemacraft is ??
Can anyone help please

If it is happening in both encoders than your pc is probably just not stable. This is most likely a heat problem. Install some kind of pc monitoring program to see how hot you are getting. You may need to try underclocking your CPU until you get your heat problem fixed, if that is the problem.

It is also possible that the avisynth didn't work properly. Try to uninstall, replace and reinstall. Sometimes only a newly installed OS (Win 2000 Pro the best) can help. So good luck!

Like htc10825, it may be a good idea to install everything from scratch. I experieced with CCE 2.64 before and after installing everything again, it works :)
Sometime OS couldn't get it right when it tried to manage resource after you upgrade. For instance, I upgraded my labtop with RAM 128MB. When I checked the memory management, the figure wasn't right so I installed everything again and then it worked. Another example is when I tried to install a LAN card, Windows 2000 couldn't find its driver at all but it could during the clean installation process :eek:
