Hi there, i've got a problem that i don't understand how to solve.
well, i'm a newbie with this program, so i followed the doom9 guide of dvd2svcd. There is one part i don't understand correctly, this is the bitrate tab. From looking at the bitrate tab, how can you configure it to be 2 x 80 minute cds, if the movie is 100 minutes?

this is what i get:

but from looking at this, i don't know what to do, please help.... I'm a newbie with svcd, thanx.

Hello,

are you sure that you´ve read the guide? Try to change a row into the following:

Between 99 and 101 mins. Use 2 CD size 800

If you use the numbers winxi said to you are restricting yourself to too small a range if the movie is actually off by a few minutes. Once you have gotten the hang of it and can for certain say the movie is exactly xxx minutes then maybe, but since most IFO's and databases are wrong it's best to leave a good range.
For now leave the range at defualt, except for the disc size. If you use 80 minute discs make all 800mb.

Please read this and the other stickies in this forum.

A quick one for more info do a search in the forum and read the stickies. In particular the Quick Guide and FAQ maybe of more help as well.

Based on that picture if the movie is 100 to 125 minutes in length you have it set to use 2 cd's of 800mb size (which is an 80 minute CD-R for video).
