It's kinda funny how I have manged to understnd and use new xvid builds and avisynth scripts/filters but I can't find anywhere what's the fastest and best way to save a frame to PNG for comparison use.
Ofcourse the anserw might just be too simple for me to see.
So the question remains what and how?

well I haven't found anything new so I guess it's ctrl-1 in vdub
and taking it to a editor for PNG format.
