What I've done so far (need help)

Hi
i ripped the fast and the furious to my harddisk. I converted it to divx format with this program: DivX502Bundle

Everything worked fine, I can play the movie on my computer. The size is also approx. 670 MB. I added also a Movie Launcher. There I can select a folder where I save my player. See Progress.

But which player do I need to play the movie on another computer? I'm really confused about this big selection of players.

There could also be another problem. See Progress. "An object or name were not found"!

I guess that this is rather a problem of the launcher than of the player. DivX movies will play fine in Windows media player, BSPlayer etc if the appropiate codecs are installed. I guess you have selected a fixed location for the player( let's say C:\programme\windows media player\) and the Launcher can find it when started from CD. So have a look at the ini file or choos another launcher (if by any means you need one..)

You already should have the right one installed.
You wrote that you have used Divx5 - that's it.
But if you want, I would suggest trying ffdshow....
You will be amazed with results...

Just to clarify something...
FFdshow is not a codec - it's just a great filter that will allow you to PLAY (not encode) almost any movie..
