hi, dunno if im right in here,so i just start up

i tryed several times some dvd9 to dvd5 with

cce/maestro/ifoupdate method

well, some work ok, most well

now here i now have a real problem

its starwars episode1 pal dvd disc1 (movie only)

when i used ifo update and then burn the disc, the cpl.
subpictures from navigation are gone, also the navigation
itself doesnt work at all anymore

so the dvd starts up, main movie, finish, no more going further

on pc with software dvd player all is fine

so, there are no extras or so wich could disturb so i have
no more clue what to do, burned already 3 discs now cause i
thought it could be the media

heres an view of the structure from video_ts

Best guess: When it works on the hard drive and doesn't work after burning, it is most often because you didn't do a "Get VTS Sectors" (IFOEDIT) or "Correct VTS Sectors" (IFOUpdate).

the files play on hd, yes

i did made the "get vts" or "correct vts"

what i meant was, the burned dvdr works on the pc also

only not in the standalone

what it may could be is, when i start IFO update there
comes an error msg

sort of like

"Original has 10 pcgs and authored has only 1 pcg"

--------------------------
IFOUpdate
---------------------------
ERROR: Only 1 source PGC found. Can't use MAESTRO mode. ABORTING.
---------------------------
OK
---------------------------

may theres the point what i dont get.

It looks like you're trying to recreate a multiple PGC VTS using a single PGC method. If the original had 10 PGCs, the newly authored one should also have 10 PGCs -- otherwise it is unpredictable what will happen.

well, tryed several things meanwhile

what i also dont get, after an ifoupdate with standard mode

when i then check the ifo, theres still the entry points
set to vobs, wich doesnt exists anymore like
VTS_01_7 wich doesnt exists cause of encoding,

may starwars episode1 was a little tuff one for ifoupdate

i will try some more, lets see what happens ;)

starwars i authored myself now, nice animated menus gone :(

thx again
