I'm using the recover function and it's starts with the muxing and cutting. When bbmpeg is running it asks: "An audiostream filename must be specified, running settings..."

The audiofile is present (encoded_audio_1.mp2). DVD2SVCD writes the default.ini of bbMPEG, and then the message appears. When I look in the default.ini (in the directory of bbMPEG) and the bbMPEGmoviesettings.ini, I see an empty space after 'Audio1filename = '. When I'm trying to submit the name manually, bbMPEG quits and the following appears in DVD2SVCD.log: bbMPEG failed. Exitcode: 3221225477.

How is this possible and how can it be fixed. This never happened before.
thx

Do a search please, this has been discussed and resolved before.

I did, but without success. The audiofile ispresent, but when DVD2SVCD writes the default ini file to the bbmpeg directory the location of the audiofile is blank. Also the bbmpgegmoviefile.ini shows blank space after Audiofilename= .

As I already said, I did numerous searches...

Strange, maybe you have inadvertently set dvd2svcd to do 2 audiostreams and only audio stream no. 2 was found, that could pose a possible bug.

What can I do about this, send a logfile or the recovery file? I tried to start bbMPEG manually with older *.ini's of the movie but I have redone the movie so the frames are not right.

You check that you haven't activated 2 Audio streams. If you have then deselect the second audiostream and start the conversion from scratch.

Well, I have learned to watch out for this but in the latest regular release you still had the problem that the audio track selection in the conversion and in tha audio tab were not immediately corresponding with each other.

Second, if you don't pay attention to the setting in the conversion tab, it may just select a dts track, and then you get an error which I recall to sound very similar. And yes, there is a track with extracted audio, but not one with converted audio. Happend to me when I was doing two languages.

This however wont happen in the next release (and also not in the betas)

I had this problem once running TMPG on a Windows XP machine, I searched a few similar threads & even tried to download a file supposedly to correct it but without any luck, in the end I just used CCE and haven't had any trouble since.

I don't know if this applies to you. Hope it helps
