Hi
I can manage to import pal and ac3 streams into spruce up, but when I try to import ntsc streams(which have being converted using the pulldownbatchFE)it imports the m2v file alright, but when you expect it to the import the ac3 file I get an error message saying: media detection error.
Does anybody know I can get round this problem?

This looks like a problem with your .M2V file. How did you get it to NTSC? What options did you use in PULLDOWN? Or, if the .M2V file shows up as imported, then you might have a problem with your .AC3 file (such as 44.1ksps) or the .AC3 header. Where did the .AC3 file come from? What program ripped it? If you used SmartRipper, try using DVDDecrypter instead. I've heard of (although never experience any) problems with SR demuxing .AC3 directly to a file. Try using TMPG to do your demuxing after the DVD has been ripped to HD.

I think there was a fault with the ac3 or m2v file, the film I was tring to do was the matrix, and I think this is a dodgy film anyway, I have since done there's something about mary r1 and that worked straight away no problem.
