DVD-9 just the vob files....

Ok.. is there a way to just merge the vob files on one of these DVD's and burn just that to a DVD-R? Would that play on a regular DVD player? Also, if they were to be burned in several vob's would a regular DVD player be able to skip to each section w/o an IFO?

The files have to include the VIDEO_TS.ifo and all of the supporting files for a DVD player to understand it. Just burning a set of .vob files will not work. If you have just the vobs you can use IFOEdit to create the supporting files.
