i'll point you in the right direction...there's a couple of blue buttons towards the top of this page...they're called the f.a.q. and the search buttons...learn to use them :D

Caramba, what a reply... you people like to be tough :o
Yes you can change manually the size of the CD's. Just go to the bitrate tab and there you'll find boxes where you can decide how much you want to fit in each CD. Change that number manually and you're done. However... as far as I know, the default numbers there produce CD's of the right size that do not require overburning.

If you have to decide if you give to a starving man a fish or a fishing reel, you'll basically decide if you save his day or his live...
Hoozdapimp made his choice, and you made yours. And since the poster seems like a perfect newbie, the reply you give him may even lead him to believe that he can set the size of each CD, which is in fact is one typical misconception the faq tries to take care of.
I personally think that hoozdapimp gave him a nearly perfect answer.

Oh well... I don't want to start a figt on that, but I simply believe you are exagerating VERY much.

Then this is becoming more a military camp than an open forum.
I do agree that people has to take their time to read the guides and the FAQs, but you can't simply crucify a guy for asking a simple question like that. Or, put it in another way, you can tell him to read the documents in a much more polite way...
But as I said, I don't want to start a fight...

No where has med said in his thread that he's using dvd2svcd, so i must assume he's not and if thats the case i think for one this dosen't belong in the dvd2svcd section and will be moved, if i'm wrong then let a moderator know this, so he can move this thread back. Also i believe since it dosen't belong here and most people answering and helping in this thread talk about dvd2svcd specifically that hoozdapimp answered him very well.
