vobs showing everything even after ripping

ok i tried deycrypting two movies, enemy of the state and the others
it rips just fine but when i play the first vob file of either movie it will show the title in both languages for example it will say enemy of the state in english then wait 2 seconds then jump back and say it in french or another language. Then during the movie it might type " new york city 18:00 hours " in english then itll jump back and type it out in another language. anyone else have that problem? its happened on the last 3 movies i tried actually , spy jkids, enemy of the state and the others , even after ripping it and using ifo edit to strip the streams i burned enemy and it did it on the burned copy. well if anyone can figure it out or let me know thanks

Quite a strange problem. What Decrypter tool do you use ?

Perhaps there is some seamless branching to manage different language but it's like a nuclar weapon to raze one building...


BTW, it's a ripping question, so moving to the right forum

i use dvd decrypter im gonna try smart ripper and see if it gives me the same problem

How are you ripping the stuff from the disc?
IFO mode or File mode?
You need to use IFO mode.

IS THAT FOR JUST THESE CERTAIN DISCS? BECAUSE I USUALLY RIP EVERYTHING FILE MODE THEN LET IFOEDIT RIP OUT ALL THE EXTRA CRAP IVE DONE ABOUT 20 MOVIES SO FAR AND THIS IS THE FIRST TIME SOMETHING LIKE THIS HAPPENED

Just use whatever works best for you.
If you're happy using file mode, stick with it.
If you have this problem again, you'll know how to get around it. :)

NO IM SAYING THAT FILE MODE IS THE WAY I NORMALLY DO IT BUT IN THIS CASE NONE OF THE MODES WORK I STILL HAVENT FIGURED IT OUT YET

ok now i just tried smartripper and still the same things i see the end credits in english and french even after ifoedit takes out the streams wtf ? this is really some annoying shit

ok now i used dvd decrypter on hannibal no problem even before i used ifoedit i play the credits and theyre all in english and i didnt even strip the streams yet

well two of the movies i noticed that it happened on were made by dimension films, spy kids and the others i used ifo mode on dvd decrypter and that seemed to fix it thanks lightning uk

I ran across a similar problem with Phantom menance...

I got the opening sceens (about 1:30), "A Long Time Ago, in a Galaxy far away......"
in english....then french...then spanish.....the movie continues fine after that.

I fixed it by reprocessing with IfoEdit and 'Removing Angles' ( I kept 'angle 1', and removed angles ' 2 & 3)

That did the trick! That 1:30 portion of the movie no longer plays in French and Spanish.

Hope this helps...let me know if that does the trick
