Hello All,

I want to say two things:

First, while watching some movies, sound goes faster than image. I noticed that expecially in divx3 (maybe I am wrong, I am not sure about it) . Dou you know a codec or exe to fix this?

Second, there is a horde of codec and player around. I don't want to install allstuff that I can find. Could you suggest me a pack or player to install and will work without problem?

Thanks

@yeldiren

You can use ZoomPlayer (find it in Doom9's downloads section) or mpc v6.4.0.5 (find it in vobsub.edensrising.com) to playback your video files.

Regarding the a/v asynch issue, it might be due to many problems:

It might be audio encoding related (audio delay might not be properly set for instance).

It might be encoding/muxing related. Do you encode video and audio separately? If not, try encoding them separately and then mux accordingly. You can use nandub to mux video and mp3 or ac3 audio for example.

Your problem might also be due to a weak system configuration. In this case you can use ffdshow filter to playback your video files, which requires less system power, with one of the players above.
