Follow the instrcutions in TRILIGHT's doom9 guide (DVD-9 to DVD-5). Easy as pie (except in some instances when the DVD colour order to screwy), done it a number of times.
The guide is inaccurate with regards to size though, a stream is only like 5 MB for a 2 hour film (once burned, obviously the bitmaps are a lot larger).

first of all thx for answering but..... i think u missunderstood me....i want to use a downloaded .srt / .sub file not a vobsub and then import it to maestro....ive downloaded the converter prog that makes the .srt / .sub file to a bmp and it works fine. But when i try to import it, it only imports about the last 30% of the bmp`s
(about a 1000 in a whole movie)
and i have NO clue whatsoever why its doing so...i would rellay appreciate some more help

Yes I did misread your post ;)
Perhaps your timecode in maestro non-zero?

Downloading movies instead of making authentic backups of original discs that you own, is not recommended nor condoned by the site owner or the moderators. As is listed in Doom9's paragraph on "piracy and copyright":
"The maintainer of this site does not condone or endorse video piracy in any way. The function of this site is to simply provide information for people to backup their own purchased DVDs..."
I'm sorry but I will have to close this thread. If you would like assistance with backing up your original disc, I recommend you follow the guide as Matthew mentioned. You will not have a problem following that method. Feel free to ask questions but not about "downloaded" movies and/or subtitles. Not only is it considered piracy and a copyright violation but you will also be giving yourself non-standard problems that others cannot possibly diagnose and help you with. Thanks!
