TV Tool questions

Does anyone here have experience using the TV Tool program?
Or... is there any *other* program that can be used to assist in playing divx to a TV through my s-video port?

The TV Tool program is very confusing in its instructions on how to use the resize feature. Apparently its supposed to help get rid of the black border that happens in your TV output, but all it looks to me like it does is make the border BIGGER by reducing the size of the screen that is output to the TV.
Am I just not understanding this? - because its sure not very good looking when I output to s-video. big black border...

Also, I noticed that when I use the divx player in full screen mode through the s-video port, I get really bad horizontal line distortion around the edges of objects in the movie. This distortion does not happen when I'm not using full screen, but then the screen is REAL tiny on the TV.

Is there anybody who can help me figure this out??

set the output mode to overscan instead of underscan which I believe is the default.

Recon, sorry for not having a solution for your problem, but i had to post this: the new Tvtool 6.8 is unbelievable GREAT!!
I had used all tvtool versions before, and then, after getting my Philips 7104 tv-out, i had to resort to nVview.
But now the new tvtool 6.8 supports my tv-out chip, and the increase in quality is awesome!! :)

Maybe you should try it, since it's new it could help you. Also, you could try to download the help file they have in their site :
