Is the 0.60 option the sharp and the 1.00 the neutral? Seems like it would make sense to me but I would like to check to be sure.

I'm wanting whichever one that will give a sharper image at the expense of compressibility.

Hi-

0.60 is Neutral.

So neutral gives you a less pronounced effect? Do most people use sharp resize?

When looking through a search I noticed that people said to use bicubic resize but it didnt mention whether if it ws sharp or neutral.

Hi-

Yes, the neutral is not supposed to sharpen or smooth the video. I don't know what most people use. I only know what I use.

Your searches regarding Bicubic-you may have come across some AviSynth resizer discussions where the terms and settings are slightly different than those in VDub. Usually people recommend Bicubic over Bilinear resizers. As for what type of Bicubic-it's kind of up to you and what looks best to you, as well as depending on the material with which you are working.
