Prassi primo DVD problem (DVD-RW)

Hi,
after use for first time the prassi to burn my DVD-Rs
and first time DVD-RW I got problem, now also after the areasing with
fully option a DVd-RW when I tryed to burn it again after only a few second an error happen and the procedures stop.
HAve some of you any help??
I tryed in bots OS win200 and win98.
(exit a way to know the right error code to understand which is the problem?)

What ype of media are you using and what type of error message did you get?

Hi,
in really I'm using That's write disc for DVD-R and TDK for DVD-RW , and at the beginning with the same sw I doesn't get any problem.
The error is generic ,first time I use siple copy of VIDEO_TS folder in the DVD-RW (never write).
After that , I tryed again but I got after few second an error.
In both case I before try to erase the RW with quik and full option.
No succesfull anywere.
Instead If I use a nero program all works fine but the dvd created is less compatible, this means that in the my sony player it doesn't
recognize, also in the play station2 it doesn't work.

any suggestion?

OK, your media is indeed good ("That's write" should be Taiyo Yuden, can you verify this?)

If you have DVD Maestro, then you can use it to create a complete image and burn that.

Nero is known for writing from entry points in dvd-video mode, so it's normal that some players don't recognise it.
But PS2 shouldn't read dvd±rw at all, it should only read dvd±r, if I'm not mistaken.

I had the same problem and it turned out that the prassi was screwed up by a program I had just put in. I think it was a disk check utility or a optimizer. Anyway just uninstall and then reinstall it should help.Hopefully.
