I capture my video either from TV at 64x480 res w/Huffyuv with YUY2 image format. (Interlaced source) I don't apply any filters.

What I need is a good way to deinterlace in fast moving parts of the picture because when I use any one of the deinterlaced filters the fast moving parts become way too pixelated.

Is deinterlacing even a major topic in the FAQ?

Hi there.

You don't mention what you have tried to deinterlace your tv caps with. I would suggest you use Telecide (from neuron2's 'decomb') as you really need FIELD MATCHING with conventional tv caps, just read the extensive help bundled with decomb.

As you live in the usa there may be the option of doing true ivtc with your caps (which you should do if you can) and telecide is your baby again.

Good luck
